Why am I receiving WhatsApp messages via email?

When you only use the WhatsApp widget on your website, it can be confusing to receive WhatsApp messages through an email. 

If this is the case, you have the E-mail functionality ON. 

We added this functionality because (especially on desktop) not all website visitors use WhatsApp. A website visitor then has the choice when sending a message to send it via WhatsApp or via Email, see example below.

You can find the Email functionality in your Futy dashboard in the WhatsApp widget under "Contact Settings."
