Set a different widget variant per page

It is possible to set a different widget variant for each page.

How do you do this?

  1. Log in and go to "Conditions"
  2. Make sure you first created the widget you want to use, then click "Add Condition"
  3. Choose 'Set widget on specific pages
  4. Choose which widget you want to display on the page(s)
  5. Add the URL path of the page. Example: at futy.io/vacancies/vacancies is the URL path. (It is possible to show the widget on multiple URLs by clicking + Add )
  6. Give the condition a name so you know in the overview what this condition is for. E.g. "All job pages."

Setting specific pages is useful on, for example:

  • English pages: if your website is multi-language, you can easily add an English variant to the English pages with the contains /en/ condition. We also have English templates listed at the bottom of the template library. See how to set up a different Leadbot for each language.
  • A vacancy page: use the contains /vacancies/ condition to show a different Leadbot at the vacancy pages. It is also possible to show a different Leadbot (with a different contact) for each vacancy. For this you can grab a more specific part of URL, e.g. /front-end-developer
  • A services page: is the goal to be able to request a specific quote? Then add a quote module, and send the quote request directly to the appropriate department or contact person.
  • A product page: do you get a lot of repetitive questions on the product page? For example, about shipping or returns? Then use the FAQ bot to capture the most frequently asked questions before someone can ask "another question.
  • A different contact per page: It is possible to set a different contact per page.
  • A blog page: Is the goal to receive data from your visitors? Then add the opt-in module to Leadbot. This way, website visitors can easily and quickly leave their email address if they want to receive more information in the future through the newsletter, for example.

Create new widget

First, create a widget for which you want to set a condition. In this you have 2 options:

  1. Add a new template to your Leadbot overview
  2. Duplicate one of your current Leadbots

Customize the Leadbot's name for clarity.
